NASF Committees

Events Committee

This committee organizes and promotes all industry conferences and events, including: The NASF Management Conference, Energy Conference, Washington Forum, and SUR/FIN.

Chair: Tony Revier, Uyemura International Corp.

Government Advisory Committee

This committee oversees the coordination of the association's advocacy efforts that affect the finishing industry, including interaction with: Congress, The Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Health and Safety Administration, European Union, and Environment Canada.

Chair: Bill Wiggins, Automation Plating Corp.

Management Committee

This committee is responsible for advancing industry best practices and innovation for member companies, networking opportunities for surface finishing owners and management, management training, environmental, health & safety recognition programs, the NASF Management Conference program, and compiling surface finishing industry data.

Membership Committee

This committee focuses on membership services, including marketing strategy, membership retention and recruitment, chapter relations and outreach activities, communication tools, and the NASF SUR/FIN Membership Pavilion.

Suppliers Committee

This committee oversees activities of special interest to the supplier community. The committee focuses on market and technology trends, developing supplier business indices and surveys, providing specialized information and updates to the supplier and finishing communities, and monitoring and advocacy related to domestic and global policy developments.

Technology Advisory Committee

The committee’s role is to add value to the industry by positioning the NASF at the forefront of surface finishing technology; identify the drivers of strategic importance to the industry; develop and maintain a comprehensive Surface Technology Roadmap to forecast and address the key industry sector, EH&S, economic, performance, and policy drivers; direct the technological activities of the NASF, including events, education, standards, guidelines, publications; and assemble an annual research agenda in collaboration with external professional, academic, and governmental organizations.
