The industry government relations program is active on a broad range
of regulatory and policy issues that impact NASF members and the surface
finishing industry. Through these efforts, the government
relations program works to ensure that legislation, government
regulations, policy initiatives, environmental controls and other
actions impacting the surface finishing industry: 1) are based on
sound science and technology, 2) facilitate the environmental, health
and safety performance of the industry, 3) are fair, achievable and
affordable, and 4) promote the best interests of the surface finishing
industry.
