The Journal of Applied Surface Finishing
The Journal of Applied Surface Finishing (JASF) contains technical
papers similar to those historically published in P&SF
while at the same time expanding the scope of papers to offer a forum
for authors who wish to publish more scientific articles. We
intend for this new journal to be a permanent resource for all who are
interested in the engineering and science of applied surface finishing
as well as a permanent part of the scientific literature and a critical
library resource in universities and similar industrial sites.
We will be seeking technical papers from the most highly regarded
sources and technological issues relevant to the 21st century. We
also anticipate that JASF will not just consist of technical
papers. The new journal will serve as an outlet for the results of
the AESF Foundation Research Program and a forum for other scientific
endeavors undertaken by the AESF Foundation. Another feature of
the JASF will be a look back at historical papers that are still
relevant today.
If you are interested in submitting a technical paper for
consideration in a future issue of the JASF, please send an email
to Dr. James
H. Lindsay, Editor or via mail to:
